Michael Schwalbe

A director, voice actor, and singer living in Las Vegas, Nevada, B. Michael Schwalbe is often referred to as a "vocal chameleon." He has performed as many as 60+ roles for a single game more than once, and can be heard in dozens of videogame titles, in addition to performing in numerous commercial and corporate campaigns. Formerly a professional metal singer with his melodic progressive metal band Invicta, when the headwinds against the music industry became too strong in 2010-12 he began teaching extreme vocals to students and dabbling in voiceover work, quickly accumulating a long list of commercial and corporate clients. Then, he realized that his worlds of metal and voiceacting didn't have to be separate lives. Bringing his extreme vocals into play, he created (and continues to create) an incredible array of monsters, beasts, zombies, dragons, and other inhuman creatures to bring the worlds of dozens of videogames to life, starting with Slay the Spire, which to this day remains in the top 15 highest-rated Steam games of all time. In addition to creating hundreds of creatures and monsters for games, he is also the creator of the wildly popular "Extreme Vocals for Extreme Roles" webinar, and has had the privilege of teaching over 350 actors of all skill levels how to hack their vocal anatomy to create the most brutal vocals imaginable safely and sustainably.
